Job Description
Buyer II role-
Job Summary : Exciting opportunity to utilize the new MRP system within SAP to manage the procurement process, make procurement forecasts, check inventory levels, and inspect quality of incoming materials.
Essential Duties :
- Responsible for optimizing purchasing volumes utilizing MRP system.
- Maintain tracking and communications on order volumes and delivery schedules from suppliers.
- Prioritize the management of inventory and expiration of materials in warehouse.
- Negotiate contracts with local / specific suppliers (price, lead -time, inventory programs.
- Work with Quality Control on supplier quality and quality audits.
- Develop internal relationship and work closely with SCM to manage purchasing of raw materials and delivery dates.
Essential Qualifications :
Preferred Qualifications : Japanese language skill preferred
Preferred Certification(s) : APICS, CPM certification preferred.
