Job Description
Position : Export Documentation / Office Administration -Japanese bilingual preferred-
Company : Wholesale, Import / Export
Location : Torrance, CA
Work hours : M-F 7am - 4pm
Work Style : On-site
Salary Range : $50K
1) EXPORT DOCUMENTATION
- Proofing shipping documents against shipping instructions and give instructions to forwarders and / or shippers
- Issue invoices and other required documents using the company system by entering the data from the shipping documents
- Sort and distribute original shipping documents to clients / agents and to the bank by using the Letter of Credit
- Handling discrepancy notices or other banking related cases for payment / documents / Letter of Credit status
- Keep track of the status of shipments and / or documents
- Communicate with overseas offices and business partners such as suppliers, forwarders, shipping companies, as well as agents regarding shipping needs from the clients
2) OFFICE ASSISTANT / ADMINISTRATION

4) OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
