Role: Japanese Bilingual Translator
Location: Bardstone, KY
Salary: $45k-$50k (DOE)

This is a full-time position in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include translating Japanese to English and English to Japanese for technical documents such as work instructions, charts, drawings, etc., as well as assist with administrative tasks such as working with Japanese support staff with relocation assignments and related activities as needed. The candidate of choice will work in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment, and must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and "switch gears" with ease.
Ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Fluent in Japanese and English for translation and interpretation
- Confident in basic administration skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing terms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to cultivate and maintain good working relationships with all manners of personnel
- Must be highly detail oriented and possess exceptional critical thinking skills
Requiements:
- Business level Japanese, native English preferred
- JLPT N2 holders or above preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 year of experience preferred
- MS Office suite
