Responsibilities:
- Meets the monthly and annual sales quota as designated by the manager
- Visits customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell the Company’s products, with emphasis on Japanese speaking clientele
- Coordinates with the accounting department to assure the collection of payment in a timely manner
- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport
- Responds to and communicates with all customers in a timely manner
- Coordinates urgent deliveries with the customer and the warehouse to accommodate the customer’s needs
- Educates customers on how the products or services can benefit them
- Inputs and updates orders within the Company database in a timely manner
- Maintains and safely navigates the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy
- Participates in the weekly sales meetings
- Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend
- Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
- Other duties as assigned
- Obligation to answer to all management as requested
- Business level English – Read/write/speak/listen
- Business Level Japanese required; Native level Japanese preferred – Read/write/speak/listen
- Conversational level Chines preferred
- To have and maintain a clean driving record
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
- Pass the Sake Adviser course within 1 year of employment
- AA Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred
- 4 years of food or liquor sales experience
- 4 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
- Able to use a car and drive for a majority of the daily working hours
- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to use the phone throughout the day
- Working Conditions
- Noise Level: Normal while in the office
- Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred
- Business level Japanese required; Native level Japanese strongly preferred
- Has and maintains a clean driving record

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree and above preferred
- Minimum 3 years of food wholesale/distribution experience required, preferably in the Japanese food industry
- 5 years of food wholesale/distribution experience preferred
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
