Job Description
The Health and Safety Executive Leader will oversee the development and implementation of our occupational health and safety management system. This includes maintaining working knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and establishing procedure manuals and standards to reflect changes and organizational needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive the development of specific safety and health standards, including injury/illness/near miss investigations and hazard communications.
- Manage clinic and medical team, Safety Leads, Safety Reps, and First Responders.
- Support manufacturing safety training and provide orientation and job-specific safety training if required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety Management, Occupational Safety Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and/or managing processes.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred.
