Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health services to women and will be enthusiastic about contributing to our practice mission and core values. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy to women dealing with a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and support through life transitions. Opportunity to work with couples, teens and groups as well.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the best course of treatment for each client.
- Collaborate with other therapists, counselors, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
- Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably working with women and related issues.
- Strong clinical skills, including experience with evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, EMDR etc).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
- Passion for working with women and addressing their unique mental health needs.
- Willingness to provide in-person care in addition to providing tele-health sessions.
