We are seeking a Cook who help prepare delicious, nutritious meals to support the well-being and recovery of our clients.
Position: Cook
Location: In-Person, Port Hueneme, California
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and cook meals according to provided menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
- Adhere to health and safety standards in food preparation.
- Collaborate with Executive Chef to ensure menu offers balanced, nutritious meals.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Degree or certification from a culinary institution preferred
- Driver's License: Current, valid California Driver License with a good driving record (per company discretion)
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English; bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus
- Occasional local travel among company locations.
- Must fulfill pre-employment conditions: tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, and reference checks. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with the law and company policy.
