Position: Housekeeper
Location: In-Person, Malibu, California
Shift Available: Full Time 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
We are seeking a Housekeeper who provides clean, sanitary orderly and satisfying surroundings for the clients and employees. The Housekeeper emphasizes the promotion of sanitary conditions to prevent infection and eliminate odors.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Performing cleaning and sanitization duties in all client and staff areas; including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Change bed linens and replace towels in client rooms.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of essential items in various areas of the facility.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk continuously
- Ability to reach above, at, or below waist height continuously
- Ability to reach above, at , or below shoulder height occasionally
- Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, turn, and twist frequently
- Ability to see well enough to read typewritten materials
- Ability to hear well enough to detect noise, discern sounds, and understand speech
- Ability to discern odors
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10lbs., occasionally 20 - 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently push/pull wheeled carts weighing from 100 - 200lbs.
- Ability to manipulate large and small tools frequently
- Ability to work outside in temperatures from 30 degrees F. - 110 degrees F occasionally
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English; bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus
- Occasional local travel among company locations.
- Must fulfill pre-employment conditions: tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, and reference checks. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with the law and company policy.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, weekends, and holidays to meet 24/7/365 healthcare facility needs
