Passaic County Community College is seeking a part-time Dual Enrollment Administrator, responsible for supporting the daily operations of dual enrollment activities and relationship management with area high schools as assigned by the Director of Early College and Dual Enrollment.
The is a part-time, administrative position.
Examples of Duties
- Initiate, organize, participate and manage dual enrollment activities throughout Passaic County
- Advise students, families, and school personnel on all aspects of the dual enrollment and early college programs
- Represent the College at various dual enrollment functions as assigned
- Have familiarity with college programs, policies and procedures including the application process, placement and registration
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the development and maintenance of relationships in support of dual enrollment and early college
- Organize and support dual enrollment functions at all Passaic County Community College campus locations.
- Maintain records and report on dual enrollment functions
- Coordinate record keeping of high school dual enrollment instructors
- Visit local high schools regularly
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Higher education experience preferred
- High School dual enrollment and/or Early College experience preferred
- Excellent: oral/written/problem solving, communication, organizational, time-management and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, to collaborate effectively with constituents
- Ability to understand and apply college policies
- Maintain essential and confidential records
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- A valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which may include; above average levels of noise, long periods of standing, carrying recruitment materials, driving at night and in varying weather conditions
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office required
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred
