What are the responsibilities and job description for the EOF Academic Coach (PT) position at Passaic County Community College?
We are seeking a part-time EOF Academic Coach for the Academic Resource Center. This position reports to the Assistant Director of EOF. The EOF Academic Coach works with students to improve their academic skills, reading/writing or math problem-solving strategies, study skills, and self-management skills, such as time management skills.
This is a part-time, hourly position.
Examples of Duties:
- Conducts one-on-one coaching sessions with students.
- Conducts group workshops and academic coaching of students in a group setting.
- Conducts tutoring sessions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, English, Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Experience in a higher education setting working with students in person and virtually.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Suite and Zoom.
The completion of a background will be required for the selected candidate.
