We are seeking a Grant Finance and Administration Coordinator for the Northern New Jersey Post Pandemic Workforce Training Initiative (NNJPPWTI). This person will carry out a wide variety of functions to support the administrative, finance and data activities of a new grant-funded workforce training initiative.
This is a full-time, grant - funded, administrative position
Example of Duties
- Perform administrative functions to support program operations, maintain office workflow, and ensure quality standards.
- Respond to inquiries about the program and provide appropriate information.
- Enter student information into the registered system.
- Serve as a project liaison to the various departments of the College's Office of Finance and Administration.
- Manage the preparation and processing of part-time hiring paperwork; maintain records.
- Organize, maintain, and process financial information and records.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, process orders and invoices; follow-up with vendors
- Develop and maintain system of documentation for expenditures; maintain inventory records.
- Monitor program expenditures to ensure that they are allowable and reasonable and correspond with project schedules; review expenditure reports for inconsistencies.
- Assist with managing and monitoring vendor and subcontractor agreements.
- Monitor budgets and develop budget projections; prepare budget reports and revisions.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports while ensuring fiscal compliance.
- Maintain file systems, log, and records in electronic and hard copy formats, including confidential files.
- Enter and compile data information for reports and analysis.
- Perform other related tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Minimum of two years' related work experience.
- Strong computer skills required; experience using colleague preferred.
- Outstanding problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and in diverse teams.
- Bilingual language skills preferred.
- Experience working on grant-funded projects a plus.
