We are seeking a part-time television studio technician to work with our Communications and Digital Media students.
This is a part-time, grant-funded position.
Example of Duties :
- Prepare TV studio and organize multi-camera studio productions.
- Prepare TV studio equipment for class lectures.
- Prepare student projects for editing, by ingesting footage and creating project files.
- Make recommendations for equipment upgrades and purchases.
- Assist students with the technical skills support and practical support needed to succeed in their Digital Media and Distribution courses by providing assistance on how to use studio equipment, assistance with course projects, and assistance with utilizing various digital media software.
- Assist in managing the department TV studio, digital media classroom, and other facilities and maintain computer workstations and video equipment in good working order.
Qualifications :
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
