Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with the organization of the kitchen by returning clean items to their designated places.
- Support kitchen staff by preparing cooking utensils and equipment as needed.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean work environment throughout the kitchen.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
