Passero Associates’ Rochester, NY Office has an exciting paid Structural Engineering Co-op/Intern opportunity to work on a diverse range of structural engineering projects. This position offers tremendous potential for gaining professional experience in a great working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve structural design and analysis on a diverse range of structural projects including commercial, municipal, institutional and multi-family residential.
Responsibilities:
- Production of structural construction drawings, specifications and reports using CAD/BIM technology
- Construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings reviews
- Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Pursuing BS degree in Civil Engineering / Structural emphasis preferred
- Available summer 2025 with potential to continue for Fall Semester (September - Dec 2025), with possible PT schedule thereafter.
- Working knowledge of Revit preferred
- Prior structural and/or civil engineering co-op/intern experience, a plus
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle
