Job Summary
Review and manage compliance of subcontract documentation, insurance requirements, and bonds. Manage vendors and office supplies. Prepare customer billings for all jobs and follow-up with collections. Gather information and prepare various financial and general reporting as required.
Responsibilities
-Answer phones and greet visitors
-Prepares and oversees communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
-Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
-Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
-Manage bookkeeping functions and adhere to accounting standard operating procedures
-Support other departments and positions within finance administration
-Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations
-Manage payroll processing
-Perform all duties within the accounts payable and receivable
-Prepare Financial statements
-Tracking fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
-Perform month end closings
-Preparing the trial balance
-File maintenance and management
-DOR filing
-Continuing education tracking
-Certification tracking
-DOT management and audits
-RFI's
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2 years accounting experience
1 years leadership experience (preferred)
Construction Industry Accounting
2 years ComputerEase (preferred)
Microsoft Office 365 proficient
Reliable transportation
Ability to work on-site
