Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage manufactured and modular home projects from delivery to completion. The ideal candidate will possess experience with HUD home installation, water leveling, proper blocking/strapping requirements, with expertise in project scheduling, building codes and supervising team members. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work side-by-side with crew members to complete tasks efficiently and neatly.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, working side-by-side with crew members ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Run site equipment/machinery and train others to do so safely.
- Adhere to detailed project schedules and oversee project implementation to ensure a quality job with timely completion.
- Communicate with project foreman and project manager in facing daily challenges and implementing appropriate solutions to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Work in compliance with safety regulations, HUD and local/state building codes.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and homeowners to facilitate smooth project execution while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or a related trade.
- Strong knowledge of HUD and modular installation processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent driving record and valid drivers license.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in project scheduling is essential.
- Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
