Enjoy working and helping others? Have a passion for early childhood? PATCH is looking for an Island Coordinator to assist with coordination and implementation of PATCH services in the community. The Kauai Coordinator is will be managing our Family Child Care Recruitment program statewide.
Duties
Responsible for the coordination of services in their respective island communities, including contractual obligations, publics relations and community representation.
Assesses child care needs and resources in the respective communities and determines ways in which PATCH might be able to address those needs.
Coordinates child care training classes on his or her island. Includes making arrangements for the facility and trainer including any travel arrangements.
Responsible for County of Maui grant and deliverables, continuous quality improvement program.
Conduct monthly staff meeting and provide guidance to ensure contractual requirements are being met.
Friday 7:30 ? 4:30 with occasional nights, weekends, and OT. Thursday hours are from 8:30 - 5:30
Requirements
Must have a valid driver?s license have access to a reliable vehicle and insurance.
BA degree in ECE or related field preferred.
4 years of experience in ECE or related field
2 years of supervisory experience
Nice To Haves
Knowledge of parenting and community child care issues and resources.
Knowledge of State child care licensing requirements is preferred.
Knowledgeable in most Microsoft Office products
