Production Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

• Drive production planning and coordination with multiple contract manufacturers to meet established demand and inventory plans.
• Plan production to match demand
• Plan flavor blends to match canning and bottling needs
• Plan filling operations for each flavor to match WIP availability for conversion to finished goods
• Create and update production orders and put them into the production schedule.
• Maintain transparency of the production schedule with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Track WIP products and re-pack schedules for variety packs
• Compile production prep packets for all production orders.
• Formula confirmation
• Pallet configuration
• Mockups
• Any details required for efficient canning operations
• Compile production completion packets
• Production reports
• Batch records
• Invoices
• Quote/Anomaly reports
• Additional charges
• KPI data
• Production order submission
• Work with the Senior Manager of Production and Planning for schedule priority.
• Agave wine transfers to contract manufacturers to support Agave based production
• Invoice Matching
• Accruals
• Tolling charges
• Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
• Drive Production planning disciplines with CoMans: Execution/Weekly KPIs/Monthly and Continuous Improvement/Quarterly.
• Drive Supply Chain Lean and Continuous Improvement and Cost reduction initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Operations (Purchasing, Planning, or Inventory)
• Exceptional customer service orientation.  Make internal and external customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s action; it develops and sustains productive relationships.
• Strong understanding of the manufacturing process  
• Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to use a collaborative approach to accomplish work goals and develop relationships within the team by listening, sharing, and appreciating others’ ideas.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. 

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years experience in Supply Chain
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The position requires excellent follow-up and a proactive skill set.
• College-level education is required.
