What are the responsibilities and job description for the PATE ECC PRINCIPAL position at Pate Early Childhood?
The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking a high energy "Culture Builder" and "Instructional Leader" to serve as the PRINCIPAL of the Pate Early Childhood Center (PECC). Preference will be given to candidates with three (3) or more years experience in an administrative role and five (5) or more years of instructional experience in an elementary school environment.
Aurora R-VIII has a strong tradition of community support, academic success and a students first approach! The unique FOUR-DAY work week, with Fridays being the weekday school is not in-session, allows for an appealing schedule – with a consistent three (3) day weekend.
PECC has nearly 480 students in grades PK-2; roughly seventy-two (72) Certified/Non-Certified staff members and one (1) Assistant Principal. The position also oversees the Parents-As-Teachers (PAT) process and a Staff Daycare.
This position is a TWELVE (12) MONTH contracted commitment, with the four (4) day-week expectation, and would begin on July 1st, 2025.
