Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in website, digital content creation, and/graphic design.
- Experience writing/editing communication campaigns/content, newsletters, and social media content.
- Experience working with CMS systems, MS Office, Google Docs, and social media platforms.
- Have working knowledge of how to shoot/edit content in office or on location; and be willing to initiate learning of technical skills with the support of the supervisor.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other creative software preferred but not required.
- Have a basic understanding of social and digital analytics and propose actionable steps to increase engagement and content performance.
- Must be available on weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Must be available during emergency closures, as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary, bilingual preferred.
- Demonstrate a superb sense of graphic design and digital content creation; be a creative self-starter.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask, work cross-functionally, and meet deadlines.
- Hold and maintain a valid drivers license with no serious violations (optional).
- Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character.
- Ability to work in a diversified school district.
- Provide proof of United States citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal For I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
- Provide evidence that a criminal record history check has been conducted and clearance has been given by the Department of Education. During the initial six-month period provide a sworn statement that the individual has not been convicted of a crime or a disorderly person’s offense in accordance with 18A:6-7.1.
- Provide evdence that health is adequate to fulfill the job functions and responsibilities, with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6:3-4A.4.
- Pass the state required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by N.J.A.C. 6:3-4A.4.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community
