Qualifications :
- Hold a valid New Jersey educational services certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A : 27.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11 with a school social worker endorsement (N.J.A.C. 6 : 11-11.8) and other appropriate endorsement(s) in accordance with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 6 : 11-10.1 et seq.
- Certificate - MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY AVAILABLE IN APPLITRACK
- Experience working on a Child Study Team
- Must have experience with Out of District placements and Private Schools for Students with Disabilities
- Demonstrate an understanding of current rules and regulations with federal and state mandated special education timelines
- Experience working with high school age students and children with special needs
- Have ability to relate to and work with children with disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good mroal character
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community
