What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/ Chiropractic Assistant position at Path Medical?
Path Medical Centers are a chain of Chiropractic/Orthopedic and MRI Imaging offices with locations all throughout Florida. We are currently looking for Medical Assistants. The ideal candidate must have a combination of knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting. Recent Medical Assistant grads are also welcome to apply!
Position Duties:
- Prepares patients and sanitizes therapy rooms for Chiropractic care
- Applies Electric Muscle Stimulation therapy (EMS), hot and cold packs to patients
- Overseas the exercise equipment and room ensuring patient safety
- Assists with patients' exams or treatments per the request of the Chiropractic Physician
Requirements:
- Ability to work some weekday evenings and Saturdays
- Must have knowledge of HIPAA
- Medical Assisting Diploma
Schedule: Flexibility in hours preferred
