Position: Head Pastor
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Pastor to lead our small ( approx. 200), independent non-denominational church in Ludington, Michigan. The ideal candidate will embody spiritual leadership, demonstrate strong pastoral care, and align with the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
Key Responsibilities: To Glorify God and enjoy him forever. Preach and teach the Word of God. Provide pastoral care and counseling to members of the congregation. Lead and equip the church in fulfilling its mission and vision. Oversee church operations, staff, and volunteers. Encourage spiritual growth through discipleship and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications: Must meet the qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Strong biblical knowledge and a deep commitment to prayer and personal faith. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Five years experience in pastoral ministry is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers. College degree from Bible College preferred but not required.
