Summary of Position:
Path Resorts is seeking a detail oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering HR policies and procedures and the overall HR functions to include compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and benefit administration.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Provides the overall Human Resources function of the company including compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and benefit administration
- Works with administrative staff to handle personnel matters including the associated documents with the hiring and termination of staff
- Participates in staff meetings to provide insight on current events, job vacancies, and other information managerial staff should be aware of
- Oversees the benefit and leave management programs (FMLA, Leave of Absence, etc.) through partnership with the benefit carrier(s)
- Participates in Safety committee meeting as a direct line of communication between staff and company insurance carriers
- Administers effective recruitment strategies which includes posting positions, advertising open positions, may participate in interviewing and hiring staff with other management staff
- Work as a point of contact for the programs including: J1 Students, H-2B Skilled Workers, Green card immigration, and J1 internships
- Completes onboarding of new hires
- Works with management to handle employee relations issues, including corrective action and performance management
- Works with managerial staff to conduct employee functions
- Handles all workers comp claims

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, business, or related field considered
- Minimum 3 years HR experience
Required Experience:
- Understanding of human resources principles, practices and employment laws
- Knowledge of HRIS software (Paylocity) - preferred but not required
- Experience in benefit administration
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suites
- Facilitate HR change management processes
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
