Summary / Objectives :
Responsible for monitoring Commercial and Residential construction loans in accordance with Pathfinder Banks policy. Analyze financial, industry, management and credit information for relationships to determine creditworthiness and risks and potential mitigating factors involved in extending credit. Manage commercial compliance and exception reporting.
Essential Functions :
- Oversee and monitor the progress of commercial and residential construction loans to ensure they adhere to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Communicate with customers the required information and overall bank process.
- Request site inspections from the residential and commercial inspectors and occasionally attend to ensure the progress aligns with project budgets and requests.
- Maintain and update construction loan advance and monitoring procedures.
- Monitor existing clients through annual reviews for potential risks and recommendations.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports and other relevant information to assess the creditworthiness of commercial clients.
- Prepare detailed loan presentations and present findings to lending team, Officer and Director level committees.
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure smaller dollar credit facilities that meet the customers' needs while maintaining policy compliance and minimizing bank risk.
- Update monthly HMDA and CRA reporting for commercial loans.
- Assist with the preparation of exception reporting to be presented to the board of directors.
