General Description Of Position
Manages subordinate supervisors who directly supervise other Skill Training employees. Responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of areas of service. Carries out supervisory responsibility in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field plus 2 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess current driver's license, current auto liability insurance and registration and be physically able to drive to various locations within Arkansas.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS APPLICABLE BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREEN. ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT WILL BE BASED ON THE RESULTS OF BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREEN.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure all standards for Medicaid, DHS, Arkansas Rehabilitation Services and all other applicable funding programs are met.
- Compliance to all DOL, OSHA, HIPPA standards.
- Maintain and/or exceed CARF standards. Develop and revise CARF manual as needed. Maintain and improve updates for old standards and implement new standards for continuation to meet CARF accreditation.
- Conduct interviews, hiring and terminations of staff. Direct supervisory staff on daily decision making and developing program procedures.
- Evaluating and assessment of supervisory staff.
- Oversight of daily operations such as client files, vocational training, pre-vocational training, payroll and/or all activities of Jim Pickens, IWAC, Benton Skills Training Center & Supported Employment.
- Coordinates staff efforts to secure contract work opportunities for trainees.
- Reviews, compiles and reports pertinent information to Executive Director.
- Make final determinations on suspensions and terminations.
- Monitor and review budget to ensure all aspects of Skills Training Center are cost effective.
- Ensures appropriate resolution is made for any issues made from individuals, families, and/or other agencies. Ensure all re-portable incidents are reported to the QA Director.
- Resolves staff conflict and/or reports any staff incidents to Grievance Officer.
- Oversight of outlying Skills Training Center's client files and payroll.
- Performs communications and strategic planning with all departments within Pathfinder to share information and continue continuity of client's services.
- Participates in providing supported employment opportunities in conjunction with other participating entities.
- Ensures all company policies are met and enforces all safety regulations. Carries out and monitors, records and reports all monthly fire and tornado drills, semi-annual disaster drills and Monthly Safety Meeting.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
