Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time WOMEN's Outpatient Weekend House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and client care of our outpatient housing facility for women in drug and alcohol recovery. This live-in role on the weekends requires hands-on management to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities:Client Care
- Facilitate intake, admission, and orientation for new clients.
- Administer drug tests (observed) and breathalyzer tests as necessary.
- Conduct property and facility searches regularly or as directed.
- Supervise client medications and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor and report individual client behavior and progress to the treatment team.
- Provide accountability, reinforcing structure and rules while maintaining a caring, empathetic approach.
- Document and communicate any significant client actions (e.g., isolation, erratic behavior).
- Maintain composure and professionalism during times of client distress and follow up with appropriate documentation.
Facility Management
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the outpatient housing facility.
- Perform shopping or supply replenishment as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with facility standards, including those set by the State of Texas (HHS) and the Joint Commission (JCAHO).
Transportation
- Provide safe and timely transportation for clients to groups, appointments, and meetings (e.g., AA, NA, CA, CR).
Communication
- Communicate effectively with house managers, clinical staff, and supervisors regarding operations and client-related issues.
- Compile and submit end-of-shift notes on client behavior to the clinical team.
Team Meetings and Collaboration
- Attend client-centered conferences, staff meetings, and team meetings as requested.
Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate situations and manage high-intensity environments.
- Proficiency in maintaining licensing and certification documentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to maintain healthy, empathetic relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- GED or higher education required.
- Current driver’s license in good standing.
- Safety training or certifications (e.g., CPR) preferred.
