We are seeking a skilled Payment Systems Integration Engineer to design and develop secure, scalable payment system integrations that process billions of dollars annually. In this role, you will ensure seamless transaction processing by integrating with financial networks, implementing robust security measures, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will build APIs, optimize system performance, and develop tools to monitor and maintain payment platform stability and uptime. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving innovative payment features to improve scalability, reliability, and conversion rates.

What you'll do :

• Design and develop scalable and secure payment system integrations to handle financial transactions efficiently.
• Integrate payment systems with various financial networks, ensuring seamless and secure transaction processing, both e-commerce on on-premise.
• Implement robust security measures for payment systems, including encryption, tokenization, and secure authentication.
• Ensure that payment systems comply with industry regulations, payment card industry standards, and other relevant financial regulations.
• Implement transaction monitoring mechanisms to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with third-party services, financial institutions, and merchants.
• Conduct load testing to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for payment system architecture, APIs, and integrations.
• Build reporting and monitoring tools to ensure the stability and security of the payments system;
• Build reporting and monitoring tools to ensure payment system uptime;
• Manage all technical aspects of relationships with payment providers and integrate new payment methods into our payment platform;
• Implement and deliver new payment features leading to higher checkout conversion;
• Have a critical role in building and maintaining our payments platform processing billions of dollars per year;
• Deliver high quality code on time and participate in extending our software to include payment systems;
• Interact with various non-engineering teams such as product, support, finance operations and senior leadership;
• Consult and refactor existing services to improve scalability, security, and reliability.
