What are the responsibilities and job description for the Changeover Technician position at Pathfinders, inc?
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic Operator level Preventative Maintenance
- Must be able to identify machine set-up inadequacies and make necessary adjustments during pre-flight process
- Stage all necessary raw materials in preparation of line start-up each morning
- Prepare all necessary Quality Control tools (scales, torque meters, thermometers, etc.) in their designated locations in preparation for line start-up
- Partner with leadership on Continuous Improvement tasks such as SOP development
- Audit and maintain all change parts carts and change-over tooling for cleanliness, broken or missing parts
- Maintain a clean work space
Requirements:
- High school diploma is required
- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience in a Maintenance or Machine Operator role
- Experience with machine or tooling change-overs
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds
