Job Summary
Director of Patient & Client Billing is responsible for leading the company's patient & client billing functions. Responsibilities include oversight of all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendors used in the billing of patients & clients, including monitoring performance and metrics, and acting as a liaison with our Commercial team when dealing with billing complaints from clients. The Director also reviews all new client billing contracts and pricing and submits set up requests to our systems and vendors and provides guidance on call center processes and statement formats and functionality. Additionally, the Director is responsible for responding to patient complaints submitted through Third-Party organizations such as the Better Business Bureau.

Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee Patient and Client Billing functions internally and outsourced to vendors.
- Develop & monitor metrics & KPIs related to Patient & Client Billing and report regularly to management
- Act as a liaison between PathGroup's Commercial team and RCM and outsourced vendors related to patient and client billing issues and ensure timely resolution to issues.
- Identify opportunities and lead projects to improve patient and client collections
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient billing processes including patient statements and patient call center activities.
- Review and approve client billing agreements and pricing and forward set up instructions to RCM vendors
- Coordinate research and develop responses to patient complaints received via third party organizations such as the Better Business Bureau.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
- Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
- Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.
