Job Summary
The Sales Support Representative aid and support the TSMs, TAMs, Regionals, Directors, and AVPs and above sales support with the set up of new accounts and the management of existing accounts. This position works with almost every department in the company.

Essential Functions
- Sales Support will support the Territory Sales Mangers (TSMs), Territory Account Managers (TAMs), Regional Directors, and upper management, with the setup of new accounts and the management of existing accounts. This position works with almost every department in the company.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of lab testing, operations, sales strategies, customer support philosophies and general PathGroup Processes.
- Ability to facilitate a variety of organization methods, including calendar management and time management, to handle multiple projects/emails/phone calls/tasks at one time and completing them efficiently and quickly.
- Provide excellent and clear communication/follow up via written and verbal response.
- Ability to navigate efficiently through, or have familiarity with, LIS systems and have proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
- Ability to identify emails for assigned territory and respond in a timely manner. Emails will involve, but are not limited to: Sales, Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, Phlebotomy, Supplies, Transportation, Interfaces, Client Services and Marketing teams.
- Independently make decisions and resolve issues.
- Work directly with sales team/management and other departments within company.
- Daily participation in operational meetings. Also, being prepared to discuss sales related items during meeting.
- Create proformas/proposals based on types of tests ordered by clients, current revenue, and predicted profit.
- Facilitate pricing quotes for clients.
- Monitor new sales account start dates and required documentation from TSMs & TAMs.
- Follow up with various departments on status of start dates, interface and phlebotomy proformas approvals, and pricing approvals.
- Research and gather needed information for potential new accounts and forward summary to sales team.
- Complete other administrative and/or sales tasks and projects, as necessary. May be asked to take the lead on specific company lead tasks and projects.
- Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
