Principal Purpose of Job:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Client Service to lead and enhance our client service operations. This role requires a dynamic leader with 5 years of experience in client relationship management, customer success, or account management. The Director will develop client service strategies, foster client relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive business growth through exceptional service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build strong relationships with key institutional clients, including portfolio managers, investment advisors, and decision-makers. 
    • Proactively identify and address client needs, concerns, and potential issues. 
    • Conduct regular client reviews and provide comprehensive reporting on portfolio performance and investment strategies. 
  • Service Delivery:
    • Ensure high-quality service delivery across all client touchpoints. 
    • Process onboarding for new institutional clients, including account setup, documentation, and compliance checks. 
    • Monitor client service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. 
  • Operational Management:
    • Collaborate with internal teams (trading, portfolio management, compliance, operations) to ensure smooth execution of client orders and requests. 
    • Maintain efficient workflows and procedures for client servicing activities. 
    • Resolve complex client issues, escalated inquiries, and potential disputes effectively. 
  • Business Development:
    • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate new institutional business. 
    • Participate in client presentations and pitch meetings to showcase the firm's capabilities and investment strategies. 
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
    • Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards. 
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to institutional client service. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5 years of related experience is required.
  • Understanding the institutional investment landscape, including investment products, regulatory requirements, and client needs. 
  • Proven experience in managing complex client relationships within the institutional market. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and develop a client service team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, assess client needs, and provide data-driven insights.
