Job Description: The Atlanta office is looking for a Manager, Personal CFO Services to join our growing family office team which provides daily accounting, financial administration and other family offices services for a diverse group of high-net-worth clients. This role is client-facing and serves as a trusted partner in managing and streamlining the financial lives of our clients. You will work with a dynamic, high-performing team and collaborate closely with internal partners to deliver white-glove service, proactively oversee financial operations, including client bills and vendor management and delivery of financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the client financial statements, including accounting for and reporting on investments, real estate, boats, planes, and other assets.
- Prepare of various schedules for client meetings and creating client presentations
- Ensure that the clients’ Accounting and Financial Reporting needs are being met in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheets, income statements, cash flows and other analytical reports
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries to produce monthly balance and income statements
- Reconcile credit card and bank account activity
- Reconcile brokerage statements and record investment activity
- Research and resolve issues or discrepancies with clients’ accounts
- Mentor and training associates
- Support and execute other family office services as required including asset purchases, sales and financing transactions, contract monitoring/compliance, insurance monitoring and oversight, and residence management
- Cash management including preparation of monthly cash flow to support funding requests
- Liaison with advisors, vendors, tax preparers and clients timely to provide extraordinary pro-active client service
- Complete special client projects of a complex nature
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- 7 years or related experience. Public accounting, family office, high net worth tax preparation, financial services or private wealth industry are preferred.
- Industry knowledge helpful in Treasury/Cash Management, Partnership Accounting, Fund and Investment Accounting
- Experience in a client-facing financial services role, preferably serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Strong analytical skills with overall financial aptitude
- Ability to effectively communicate and compile data into clear reports
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills
- Ability to interact with clients and advisors in a professional and discrete manner
