This role supports the firm’s Austin, TX office.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. CFP designation, proficiency in financial planning and analysis, and experience with financial planning software strongly preferred. Prior experience in the financial management industry of 2-3 years, specifically Client Operations and Administration, and past full-time office experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills. Being detail-oriented and understanding time-sensitive issues are extremely important, along with having solid PC and Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel. They will need to show a positive attitude and initiative in all aspects of the position, as well as demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks in the face of competing demands. At the same time, the candidate must be engaged in learning and growing and be motivated to take on new challenges. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important to the client facing role. Basic understanding of investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternatives is strongly preferred.
Job Description: Provide assistance to Client Advisory Team in all manners of financial planning, reporting, client service and daily operations, as well as special projects, which can include preparing client financials and client presentation material.
Job Responsibilities: Manage and maintain quarterly financial reports across client base for client meetings. Manage financial planning and provide ad hoc analyses for client’s financial and estate planning needs. Prepare and adjust financial plans based on clients' changing needs. Provide support to Client Advisory Team in the communication and implementation of client investment strategies. Due to the required expertise in all client operational matters, this role will serve as additional support in the quarterly reporting process, specifically in reconciling and reviewing client reports.
