Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Advisor Partners, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Trading Associate who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and can independently multi-task. This individual will primarily manage the day-to-day trading operations but may also engage in buy-side fixed income trading.
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Daily equity and fixed income trade settlement and reconciliation
- Fixed income trading (i.e., building relationships with broker network and evaluating relative value across investment grade fixed income sectors and at the security level)
- Liaison between the PHL Trading Desk, internal functional teams, and counterparties (e.g., brokers and custodians)
- Best execution review and analysis
- Portfolio reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- MS Office, including Excel, proficiency
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, Advisors, and counterparties
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a high work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business degree
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, INDATA, and Advent
- Previous experience on a buy-side fixed income trading desk, operations, and/or portfolio management
