Job Description
Pathway Health is looking for an Interim Director of Nursing. The Interim Director of Nursing will performs a full range of professional interim assignments.
Duties:
- Assist the client with assessing, planning, developing and implementing systems, processes and other needs as requested
- Identify training needs; plan and conduct training/in-services as requested
- Maintain current working knowledge of applicable state and federal standards, regulations and industry standards of proactive and professional practice guidelines.
- Assist clients as requested in the selection and hiring of key management staff.
- Functions within scope of work as defined by the client
- Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Must have current RN license in state
- Must have three years of RN Management skills (preferably) in long term care
- Excellent leadership, communication and customer service orientation
- Able to build solid relationships with all levels of staff, interdisciplinary team, residents and families
- Must be Flexible for travel
