Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming Patients: Greet patients warmly, making them feel welcome and safe.
- Communication: Answer phone calls with a smile, handle voicemails promptly, and follow up with patients who miss appointments.
- Patient Assistance: Help patients complete paperwork, verify insurance details, and update records.
- Support Flow: Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with scheduling, and communicate with medical staff.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage medical records requests, collect co-pays, and perform daily office support tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent organizational skills
- Friendly, non-judgmental demeanor with a strong ability to exude kindness and empathy
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Well-lit, climate-controlled office environment
- Primarily seated work with computer use
- Occasionally handle sealed urine samples with PPE
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
