Job Summary

Duties

- Monitor clients' health and behavior, documenting any changes or concerns in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive skills, particularly in memory care settings.
- Implement individualized care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Administer first aid as necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health-related issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all equipment is properly utilized and maintained.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, home care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude while working with diverse populations.
- Physical capability to assist clients as needed, including lifting or transferring individuals safely when required.
