Pathways Family Counseling is a busy private practice in North Royalton, Ohio. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and trauma-informed mental health services that empower individuals on their journey to healing and wellness. Through a holistic approach, our mission is to create a safe and nurturing space where clients can embark on a transformative path toward resilience, self-discovery, and lasting mental and emotional well-being. We seek counselors to fill 1-2 part-time to full-time independent contractor positions. We are looking for dedicated individuals to grow and develop their niche with us!

Qualifications (required):
Completion of a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, IMFT, MFT, and a minimum of at least 3 years of clinical experience
The Ideal Candidate (not required):
- Trauma-informed and trained/certified in EMDR or willingness to complete EMDR training
- MFT Licensure or training working with couples and families
- Able to work with children, adults, couples, and families (specializing in work with one of the demographics, but not the others is okay too)
- Self-motivated and works well independently
- Skilled & confident with strong interpersonal skills
- *Desire to work in a supportive and clinically progressive environment
- Trained in, or utilizes IFS/Ego State or Somatic Practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Perform patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health needs.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance patient care.
- Utilize premium skills like crisis intervention and motivational interviewing to support individuals in distress.
