Description:
Pathways Weekend Coordinator will play an essential role on our weekend operations team during non-business hours, while having the comfort and flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate has computer and software skills and will enjoy being a key resource to our patients, their families, referral sources and our staff. This position will be remote/work from home with the exception of training which will require three to four weeks of in-office training during business hours located in Westwood, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining clinician schedules on a daily basis
- Provides superior customer service to internal staff, and external customers and patients
- Ensures patient visits are scheduled as needed; Collaborates with clinical staff and Clinical Managers on scheduling issues
- Ensures scheduling and re-scheduling of patient visits in an accurate and timely manner
- Provides back up administrative support as needed
- Answers and triage's telephone calls
- Ensure timely completion of daily workflow tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Weekend and evening availability
- Must commit to at least four major holidays annually
- Must complete in-office training during normal business hours (paid)
- Commit to on-going education and training on site as needed (paid)
Skills:
- 1 year of experience using HomecareHomebase preferred
- Enjoy working remotely on a laptop on multiple different electronic records and platforms
- Technical skills must include proficiency using computers, scheduling software, etc.
- Great attitude and compassion for our staff and patients
- Independent problem solver and critical thinker to aid our staff and patients
