We are seeking a highly motivated and organized X-Ray Supervisor to join our team in the Lake Ridge, VA area. As an X-Ray Supervisor at Patient First, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the X-ray department, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care, and working closely with our radiology team to achieve exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- X-ray Department Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of X-ray Techs, ensure that all responsibilities are completed efficiently, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular quality control checks on equipment and supplies, monitor X-ray Tech performance, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
- Patient Communication and Care: Communicate effectively with patients, answer their questions, and address their concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other departments, such as nursing and administration, to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Registered member of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), licensed if required in the state of employment, and minimum one year of experience in radiology or a related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and provide high-quality patient care and service.
