Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Opportunity
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in Chester, Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate diagnoses and ensure patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory testing and analysis of blood and other bodily fluids
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes and automated analyzers
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate results
- Communicate test results and observations to healthcare providers and patients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory procedures and results
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP certification (or equivalent) required
- 1 years of experience in a medical laboratory setting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
