Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Supervise and train office staff, including receptionists and dental assistants, to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Oversee scheduling of appointments, patient records management, and billing processes.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix software.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize clinic resources and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication regarding patient treatment plans.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management, preferably within a dental clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Eaglesoft or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.
- Background as a nurse or experience in medical records management is a plus.
- Ability to develop budgets and manage financial aspects of the clinic efficiently.
