Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, including medical coding when necessary.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Utilize 3D scanners for dental impressions and assist with prosthodontics procedures.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow.
Skills
- Proficient in aseptic technique to prevent infection during procedures.
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry to assist effectively during treatments.
