Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven After-School Program Sales Representative to help expand our partnerships with schools. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities, engaging with school administrators, and securing after-school basketball programs for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, strong sales abilities, and an understanding of the needs of schools and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Outreach: Research and identify potential schools for afterschool basketball programs. Reach out to school administrators and decision-makers to introduce the company and secure meetings.
- Presentations and Pitches: Conduct meetings and presentations with school administrators to highlight the benefits of offering a basketball program for their students.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with school staff, administrators, and key decision-makers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Program Customization: Work with schools to tailor afterschool programs to meet their specific needs and scheduling constraints.
- Contract Negotiation: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and program implementation.
- Follow-Up: Provide ongoing communication with schools to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for program expansion.
- Reporting: Keep track of leads, progress, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of securing new business and managing client relationships (preferably in education or sports).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor presentations to different audiences.
- Familiarity with the needs and challenges of schools and afterschool programming.
- Knowledge of basketball or a strong interest in youth sports is a plus.
- Self-starter with a high degree of motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt sales tactics to meet the unique needs of each school or program.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Compensation:
- Base salary performance-based commission on secured contracts.
