What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at PatientCare EMS Solutions Texas?
This position is part-time, in-office, working three (3) 8-hour days per week with one (1) day being Friday.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will assist administrators in the day-to-day clerical needs within the Fleet Plus organization. The relative tasks assigned will enhance the logistical aspects associated with daily production within Fleet Plus relative to the final ambulance remount product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, sort, code, and send vendor invoices for payment.
Receive and input the initial information into the appropriate data systems for new chassis’ or vehicles received directly from customers.
- > Input vehicle/chassis/module information into Fleet Plus data system.
Create and disseminate initial remount paperwork for Lead Remount Technicians associated with the remount scope of work.
Works with Vice President and Office Manager to coordinate the receiving of chassis titles of dismounted chassis, create Bill of Sales and coordinate the removal/disposal of retired chassis.
Assist Office Manager in researching and accumulating data for budgetary purposes and reports as needed.
Coordinate and order office supplies, uniform purchasing, etc.
Other office duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Experience with creating spreadsheets, scheduling (vendors, transports, parts deliveries, etc.) and data entry
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn internal systems
Experience in an office environment
Education and Certifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent, or a minimum of two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid class “C” driver license

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Works indoors with occasional exposure to electrical, radiant or energy hazards; fumes, odors, temperature changes.
