Clinical Manager – Home Health works under the direction and guidance of the Branch Director/D.O.N. The Clinical Manager directs and supervises professional and auxiliary personnel by rendering client care services. The Clinical Manager also assists with marketing duties, fosters public relations for the company, consults and plans with healthcare facilities regarding staffing needs, and communicates the concept of quality client care to the general community. The Clinical Manager will obtain input from service personnel to provide professional input related to administrative systems. Will assist with coordinating orientation and in-services programs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Plans, develops, and manages the clinical programs, services, activities, and employees of the agency consistent with company policy and regional management directives.
· Assists with the oversight of the agency’s growth related to home care.
· Serves as the clinical expert and assists with the operational and financial management of the agency.
· Investigate and takes appropriate actions on client/consumer complaints.
· Participates in the recruiting, hiring, and identifying the training needs of clinical staff.
· Assists with programs and services regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Conducts regular client home visits to ensure quality of care, performs home visits as needed.
· Ensures client compliance with Accreditation, Federal, State regulations through policy and procedure.
· Oversees all clinical staff (RN/LPN/CNA/PT/OT/ST) and assists with annual employee evaluations for all clinical staff.
· Manage caseload as needed for client coverage.
· Oversees all CQI and utilization review activities.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Florida
- Obtain and maintain active CPR per agency policy.
- Have or obtain Level II background screening
Preferred:
- 2 years RN experience in a healthcare setting (home health or hospice)
- 1-year Supervisory experience
- Medicare Skilled Nursing experience and a basic understanding of OASIS
