Job Description

As an EXPO you will be responsible for ensuring efficient communication between the kitchen and front of house staff. You will make sure the food is prepared correctly, plated properly, and delivered to guests in a timely manner.

• Act as a bridge between the kitchen, servers, and ensuring food is sent out in the right order and on time.
• Inspect dishes for presentation, portioning, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
• Ensure all food items are table ready.
• Adding finishing touches like sauces, garnishes, or dressings.
• Communicating any issues with kitchen and staff, such as modifications, special requests, or urgent orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized station.
• Quickly resolve issues with missing or incorrect items.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED or in the process of obtaining one
• Minimum of 6 months of food service experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess verbal skills for effective communication
• You must have organizational and time management skills and demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
