The Ideal Candidate
You enjoy and appreciate customers and recognize that ultimately, they provide your paycheck. You’re grateful to be a part of a small team that accomplishes big things and you like that your performance significantly impacts how the day goes. When you think of a creative solution to a problem, or have a great idea, it regularly gets implemented and you are sincerely appreciated. For you, trust is something that must be earned, and you’re comfortable proving to your coworkers that you can be trusted too. Cold mornings or hot afternoons aren’t that big of a deal. And for that matter, neither is a little bit of Oregon “liquid sunshine.” Of course you prefer clear, sunny days, but the camaraderie of the crew slogging it out on a cold, wet day makes it worth it.
Every day is a new challenge…a new jobsite, with a new cover to be built and the chance to do it a little better than we did yesterday. You enjoy the friendly greetings you get in the morning as you walk into the warehouse. The drive to the jobsite is interesting because you never know what the topic of conversation will be. The day passes quickly because you’re engaged in the work you’re doing and you know there are people who are depending on you to get the job done today. And then the best part of the day comes…the moment when the homeowner steps out onto their completely transformed patio. Before you showed up this morning, there was nothing but wet concrete and an old, covered barbeque. But now, there is an outdoor living space that will change the way someone enjoys their home. And you and the team were the ones that made it happen.
If this sounds like you, then you’re our People.
Your next step is to call this number 503-820-4194 to schedule a call with one of our foreman.
