Overview
Patio Pools & Spas is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing pool equipment. This role focuses on pool/spa equipment repair and replacement, ensuring that clients' pools are safe, efficient, and fully operational. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, handling physical tasks, and using various tools, and conversing/communicating directly with our clients in a professional manner.
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair issues with pool equipment, including pumps, heaters, filters, automation systems, salt systems, and plumbing.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on malfunctioning systems.
- Replace and install new pool equipment as needed.
- Perform plumbing repairs.
- Work with pool automation/electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating findings and solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including repairs and equipment installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on-site at various locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and work site.
- Maintain and oversee assigned work truck parts/material inventory.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pool Repair Technician, Pool Maintenance Technician, or in a related mechanical/.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment repair is preferred but not required. Training is offered for this role.
- General familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, repair processes, and a mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required to travel between job sites.
Job Type:
· Full time
· Training pay $18-$23 per hour
· Fully trained and self-sufficient Repair Technician pay $60k-$75k per year depending on performance metrics and revenue milestones.
